mLISD NEW INITIATIVE
New initiative allows students to keep devices all year
Through the new mLISD 24/7/365 program, current 6th-11th grade students can pay their dues now and keep their same laptops year-round, even over the summer, to avoid the hassle of checking out a new device next year. Keeping the student device for all 4 years at GHS promotes college or career readiness, and students receive free technical support on campus.
mLISD Payment Options
Dues for mLIsd are $70 for an entire year ($35 for students receiving free or reduced lunch). Families can pay with debit or credit cards through the mLISD website; a cash payment and parent agreement form through the Glenn MAC; or by submitting scholarship and parent agreement forms through the MAC. Please note, scholarships must be renewed each school year.

The Locker at GHS
The Locker is a campus organization created as a safe place to anonymously acquire hygiene products, personal items, clothing, and school supplies for students who have an immediate need. If certain items are not currently available in The Locker, we will see donations to get the student's needs met - shoes, socks, jackets, etc. Items are retrieved on an honor systems.
What items would you like to see provided in The Locker at GHS? Click here to submit your ideas.
Student Transfer Requests
Voluntary transfers will be permitted to transfer to other open high school campuses within the district on a space and staffing available basis.
Once a student transfer request is approved at the high school level, the student will be allowed to complete his/her high school years at the approved campus, subject to the terms and conditions noted on the transfer request form, as well as the requirement to maintain residence within the boundaries of Leander ISD.
If your child is an athlete, there are additional requirements that affect eligibility. An approved transfer does not make your child athletic eligible. Please contact the Athletics office (570-0170) to discuss eligibility.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays in the spring, GHS will run a late bus option at 5:00 PM for transportation home. The Grizzly Opportunity (GO) Bus will allow students to stay at school for an extra hour for a variety of opportunities such as attending tutorials, attending club meetings, making up hours-owed, and serving detention. Students wishing to take advantage of the GO Bus must report to their destination by 3:50 and remain in that location until 4:50, at which time a GO Bus pass will be issued. Students must have a GO Bus pass to board the 5:00 bus.
GO BUS APRIL DATES: 4/4, 4/6, 4/11, 4/18, 4/20, 4/25, 4/27 GO BUS STOP LIST/SCHEDULE
Available Online NOW Leander ISD parents can enter their home address into Infofinder i, an online tool available on the LISD website, to look up their child’s bus number and pick-up/drop-off times and locations for the coming school year. In an effort to reduce expenses and ensure real-time accuracy, the district does not print and distribute bus route schedules prior to the start of school. Bus routes are subject to change, and so LISD parents are strongly encouraged to confirm their child’s bus information again the week prior to the start of school, Aug. 15-19. For transportation questions, please call 512-570-0700.
Our new online school store has officially launched! Treat yourself or your friends with a purchase from our school store. Through the VIP Branding Program, we have a new online school store filled with fresh, new Grizzlies gear. Shop for yourself or a student, and Tom Glenn High School will receive a portion of every purchase to support student programs. This drives much needed funding to the school and unifies all of us as our students, families, alumni, faculty, and others start to see more and more Tom Glenn High School gear in the community!
