Library Checkout Policy
PreK, K, 1st grade = 1 book each week
2nd - 5th grade = 2 books each week
|

Late Book Policy
Students will NOT be able to take books home until all late books are returned, the replacement fee is paid, or a parent has talked to the librarian about waving the fine.

Note from Librarian:
My name is Rachel Deaton, and I have been a school librarian since 1992. I have an undergraduate degree in English and History from Southwestern University in Georgetown. I worked as a 7th grade English teacher for seven years before going back to school to earn my Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Texas. I love working in the library and reading.
My goal is to help students, teachers and parents find the information they need and to promote the love of reading. I enjoy walking my dog, traveling, going out on the lake with my husband, and scuba diving. I am honored to be able to work with the students, staff and parents of Winkley Elementary.
